Talent shows usually become a hit. Is easy for the audience to feel related to those who try out and give their best in order to become a “star”. Or at least be noticed. That’s what “La Banda” does and Walmart felt it could be great to let those who support the contestants have a space to be heard. With a customized microsite, not only could they create a ranking of most popular contestants but also be included on a ranking of the most active users. Talent is the most important part of these shows but without the fans and spectators buzz taken into account the success of both the program and the singers can be left anecdotal.
